OUR MISSION:
The PTO’s mission is to contribute in building a rich supportive environment for students as the PTO works in partnership with the administration, teachers and parents of Avon Grove Middle School. This will include, but is not limited to:
a. Support the School in its mission;
b. Promote communication and mutual respect among parents, faculty and administration;
c. Support the educational and social objectives of the school through PTO-sponsored programs;
d. Provide direct financial support to the school through organized fundraising events;
e. Provide financial assistance to programs that directly impact teachers and students;
f. Organize community-building events.
What to expect in 2025/2026...
The PTO will be supporting transition camps, purchasing new spirit wear shirts for all AGMS teachers and staff, providing designated funds for all teams, hosting Teacher and Staff Appreciation meals and gifts, donating transportation funds to offset field trip costs for all students, helping support the AGMS PBIS program. The PTO will also introduce a new fundraiser for students and host the third annual Dodgeball Tournament. More to come...
PTO 2024/2025 Support Highlights...
That’s a wrap on the 2024 – 2025 school year! Here are a few highlights
• Helped welcome incoming 6gth grade students with transition camp.
• Provided t-shirts for our teachers to kick off the school year.
• Provided 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams with funds to use for student activities
• Organized dinner for the teachers during both spring and fall conferences.
• Held the second Dodgeball tournament at AGMS with food trucks and raffle baskets
• Hosted a dessert buffet for teachers during teacher appreciation week
• Purchased new exercise equipment for the students to utilize during active health class
• Supported the Life Skills program
• Ran a two week Boosterthon fundraiser with daily and raffle prizes, and ending with a school wide color run

That’s a wrap on the 2023 – 2024 school year! Here are a few things that we were able to organize and provide for our students, teachers and staff
• Helped facilitate transition camp.
• Provided and t-shirts for our teachers to kick off the school year.
• Supported 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams with funds to help with team building and related activities.
• Organized dinner for the teachers for both spring and fall conferences.
• Hosted a fabulous family Bingo night event
• We were able to bring the first Dodgeball tournament to AGMS
• We celebrated our teachers with a dessert buffet.
• We were able to help defray the cost of several special trips for the Life Skills program.
• Used our fall fundraiser proceeds to purchase tables for an outdoor eating area
