For the 2025-2026 School Year the PTO will be implementing a new fundraiser! Our Get Outside Fundraiser better suits our school and our students while encouraging healthy habits amongst our middle schoolers. The PTO hosts one major fundraiser each year to fund all the activities and events we provide for AGMS students and staff each year and we appreciate the support we always receive from AGMS families!
Get Outside Fundraiser at a Glance...
The Get Outside Fundraiser combines a PTO fundraiser with a challenge for students
The challenge for students is to spend at least 30 minutes outside each day without screens or technology
The Get Outside Fundraiser is a pledge driven fundraiser. Students will invite family and friends support them in completing their challenge with donations on their behalf
Throughout the fundraising event students will be eligible for sign up prizes, daily raffles, homeroom prizes and two big raffles, a Bluetooth Party Speaker and a 65" Smart TV.

What is the AGMS PTO Get Outside Challenge?
Students pledge to spend 30 minutes outside everyday during the fundraiser without a screen. Students can spend that time doing any activity they choose, such as reading, taking a walk, practicing sports (have a required sports practice, that counts), riding a bike, relaxing and talking with friends, the possibilities are endless! Students will solicit donations to support their effort and get entered into daily raffles for prizes and homeroom rewards.
What is the goal of this Fundraiser?
The PTO has two missions, to get students outside and off screens and to raise $15,000 for PTO sponsored events and activities.
What activities does the PTO support each year?
Some of the activities the PTO supports each year include incoming student transition camps, dodgeball tournament, funds for teams and guidance to use for student activities, Teacher and Staff Appreciation meals, and helping fund field trip transportation. This year the PTO will also support the AGMS PBIS program by helping to purchase prizes.
When does the fundraiser start?
The fundraiser runs from September 12th - September 26th.
How does it work?
A parent or guardian will sign up their student on our online fundraising site, 99pledges.com. All donations will be entered online. Once signed up students can begin to share their donation page to get donations from friends and family for participating in the AGMS Get Outside challenge.
What is the kick off event?
During the school day on September 12th, all student activities will be done without screens. Aside from attendance, student Chromebooks will not be used during the day. Additionally, students will spend time outside with their grade participating in outdoor activities.

How does my student get entered into the daily and homeroom raffles?
Students are automatically entered into the daily raffle on any day they receive a donation.
How does my student get entered into the BIG WEEK 1 and END OF EVENT raffles?
For the WEEK 1 BIG RAFFLE, students receive 1 entry for every $5 in donations they receive during the first week of pledging. For the END OF EVENT BIG RAFFLE, students receive one entry for every $10 in donations they receive over the entire event.
NOTE: Entries are calculated automatically based on total donations for each student, students do not need to take any additional steps to be entered.
How do I find out about the giveaways and prizes for each day?
Daily prizes and giveaways will be posted on the PTO and AGMS social media accounts, as well as on the PTO website. Winners will be announced over the PA system during the school day.
How will students receive prizes?
All students participating will receive a AG locker magnet, these will be distributed by the homeroom teachers. Winners of the daily raffles will be called to the office to receive their prizes. For the larger Raffle prizes that cannot be taken home on the bus, parents will be contacted and arrangements will be coordinated.
My student didn’t sign up or get any donations, what do they do?
We encourage all students to sign up and take the pledge to get outside. Students can sign up at any time during pledging and outdoor activity is great for students' mental and physical health. Even if they don’t sign up, all students will participate in the outdoor kickoff event that takes place during the school day on September 12th and all students are eligible to be part of homeroom prizes.
How does my student keep track of their time outside?
Students can track their time any way they like. We will not be asking students to submit any type of log. We know that students who sign up and take the pledge to Get Outside will do their best to follow through each day.
Can I watch the raffle drawings for the Bluetooth Speaker and Smart TV?
Yes, the BIG raffle winners will be chosen during the morning announcements and can be seen on AGTV using the link below.

Will AGMS still be holding a Boosterthon event as in previous years?
No. The Get Outside fundraiser will replace the Boosterthon this year.
